Summary | 0024449: Calender view steals cursor keys
Description | I prefer entering / correcting dates (e.g. version release dates) manually without the help of the calender control. However, as soon as I click into the edit box, the calendar widget pops up and steals keyboard actions from the edit box. In particular, if you want to navigate in the edit box (e.g. to move the cursor to the time part of the string), these cursor presses are interpreted as changing to the next or previous day in the calendar. Making a selection with Shift+Cursor keys works, but just pressing Cursor keys alone does not work. I think it would make sense if the cursor keys were only captured if the calendar is actually focussed.
Steps To Reproduce | Click on date/time field and press left/right cursor key.
