"magic" file needed please
So I'm installing/configuring Mantis 1.3.5 on Windows Server 2012 R2 under IIS 8.5 with PHP 5.6.24 and would like some kind soul to provide me a web link to a valid "magic" file that I can grab and stuff in a directory under mantis so my /admin/check "fileinfo" warning goes away. From reading through the Mantis code I found that a magic file is simply a mapping of MIME types to file extensions. Since Windows does it differently, I'm thinking that Mantis will be fine if I just shove a *nix magic file in a directory it can see and point the $fileinfo_magic_db_file global to its location. Anyone?
Re: "magic" file needed please
Can't help that much on Windows/IIS
As a first step, check if this extension is enabled http://php.net/manual/en/book.fileinfo.php
It should be listed in the output from http://www.mantisbt.org/forums/viewtopi ... 962#p60966

Re: "magic" file needed please
Thanks. I've been doing a ton of reading on PHP and the fileinfo functions, and found this buried post: http://php.net/manual/en/ref.fileinfo.php#67988 for Windows. We shall see if it helps...
EDIT: Yay that fixed it and the Mantis fileinfo warning is now gone from /admiin/check. By the time I'm done here this forum will contain everything necessary to get mantis & PHP up and running without errors or warnings in a Windows server environment!
